Looking for "all mailboxes" in new outlook interface

I have started using the new Outlook desktop interface. In the older version I was able to enter this search term: Folder:inbox and select all mailboxes and it would display all my inboxes from different email accounts. I cannot find the equivalent in the new interface. Does it exist? How can I look at the inbox of all my accounts without having to do them one at a time?

    I finally gave up and once again moved back to Outlook classic. This has to be the worse redesign of software I have ever experienced. The interface is extremely not intuitive, Too many features are not included like the search all mailboxes or simply sorting your email accounts in the left panel. Maybe it's time for Microsoft to give up software development and concentrate on Xbox, etc.

    I also rely heavily on the Search all mailboxes function. I think this is an essential function and needs to be included.

    A related issue - when composing a message in the previous Outlook, there was the option to change the account from which it is sent, even after you had composed the email - in the New Outlook, changing the account deletes any content I have written - I may as well just create a new email. Managing multiple mailboxes is a constant challenge and this is another function being removed in the New Outlook.

    This is one of the features that I have been missing a lot and its definitely affecting the workflow. I do understand they are transitioning everything to a web-based system, but when this is done, some essential features need to be worked into the new one which I believe is crucial to most businesses.

    Reading this thread I can see its been a year and none this has been adapted to the new outlook yet. It is sadly disappointing that they force us to the new outlook without ensuring all necessary features are migrated.

    I am with you, one of the tenants of new software design should always be don't remove functionality. As an IT Leader something I always tell my staff is you can't fix something by breaking something else.
