How do I log off the new outlook app for pc. I dont see file , a button with my initials, my email, none of the usual log off solutions

Having just tried it several times, no it doesn't. Next time I load outlook after removing account, my name is in the drop-down and selecting it logs the account in without any password required. Even if I restart pc in-between.

This may be some interaction with security settings at my org or typical Microsoft uselessness.

This is my steps to do**:**

1. Log in to my Microsoft account on another device, such as a laptop or phone.
2. Go to the Device menu and disable the device you're logging in from.
3. After that, when I open the Outlook app and click on something, a notification about the disabled device will appear.

Because that is far from a "solution" The original question was how to log out and back in. Not how to remove everything and start over. Your answer was like somebody locking their key in their car and wanting to get in to get it and being told to cut off the roof.

The real answer is you can't. There is no way to log/sign out and back in as in the classic Outlook.
