Outlook 2016 App Search Bar

One of my clients woke to a new search bar in Outlook 2016 right next to the regular search bar, the new search bar is called "App Search", it is bigger than the regular search bar, pushes it aside to the point that it is too small to work with, and the App Search bar itself doesn't work at all, you can click it but nothing happens, I have tried to find a way to remove it but even uninstalling and reinstalling the whole office suite the App Search bar still remains, she has two computers but only one is affected by it.

I would like some help with it, or at least make a notice of it so Microsoft can fix this bug.

    Come on, Microsoft.  Get this annoying "App Search" bar out of our way.  It's annoying and interfering with lots of people trying to use Outlook 2016.

    I just woke up to this annoying App Search bar as well. This is pathetic. Also, the "Show Apps in Outlook" checkbox is no where to be found in File-->Options-->Advanced. I have Outlook 2016.

    I'm running Win11 and Outlook 2016. Today I'm facing same problem as everyone in this thread. Suddenly I have weird size grey box that doesn't work at all. I can't close it and I can't use it.

    I hope it will be fixed soon!

    Noticed it this morning, same issue. Please stop messing with the UI by default. If you want to add new features, ask if we want them, and give an option to say yes or no. 99% of the time, the answer is "no".

    Please fix this stupid annoying APP search bar update - it dosen't work and so far I cannot remove it

    I don't want this thing stuck there taking up space that I need when I want to search for mails etc.

    How can Microsoft put something there without the option of removing it is beyond me

    Come on Microsoft get rid of this thing or at least tell us how it can be removed.
