Outlook 2016 App Search Bar

One of my clients woke to a new search bar in Outlook 2016 right next to the regular search bar, the new search bar is called "App Search", it is bigger than the regular search bar, pushes it aside to the point that it is too small to work with, and the App Search bar itself doesn't work at all, you can click it but nothing happens, I have tried to find a way to remove it but even uninstalling and reinstalling the whole office suite the App Search bar still remains, she has two computers but only one is affected by it.

I would like some help with it, or at least make a notice of it so Microsoft can fix this bug.

    Please fix this stupid annoying APP search bar update - it dosen't work and so far I cannot remove it

    I don't want this thing stuck there taking up space that I need when I want to search for mails etc.

    How can Microsoft put something there without the option of removing it is beyond me

    Come on Microsoft get rid of this thing or at least tell us how it can be removed.

    Can you please address this issue wiht the APP search bar?
    It is really making it difficult to work on my Outlook. I use the regualr
    search bar all day for work and the APP search bar takes up all the space.

    Hello!

    Exactly the same irritating, time-wasting problem for me.

    This new unwanted "App Search" Bar suddenly appeared and takes up A Huge Amount Of Space & Real Estate in Outlook 2016 - As from today - Thursday 1 Feb 2024.

    I am also awaiting Microsoft's soonest possible assistance - For you to either remove this totally unpopular, unnecessary, invasive icon --

    ---- Or, to make it easy and straightforward for me (& all users) to delete, remove or hide.

    I have Windows 10 Pro - & MS Outlook 2016

    We all obviously have no other option -

    --- But to wait for Microsoft -

    --- To Please Fix This Bug ASAP!
