How can I turn on auto capitalization in the new Outlook?

We just switched to the new Outlook and now it will not automatically capitalize like the older version would. Is there any way to turn this back on?

Toggle 'Enable auto capitalization'

This thread dates back to February 2024, it's not November. Any plans to fix this issue soon??

2024-10-14T13:57:12+00:00 Go to your system settings on the Mac. Go to keyboard and click on Text Input, then click on Text Replacements...
From there click on the + sign and have lowercase I replaced with uppercase I. It will then do it in all your applications no matter where you work where the I is standing alone.
