We just switched to the new Outlook and now it will not automatically capitalize like the older version would. Is there any way to turn this back on?

In creating a new email or replying, go to OPTIONS tab >> EDITOR >> Editor Settings
Toggle 'Enable auto capitalization'
i found the way and omg im so happy. i wasted too many hours of my life on this stupid problem.
open a new email > click options from the top bar > click editor
and you have the setting there to toggle off.
This is amazingly stupid - seriously, how could they create a new version and have such a simple feature missing. Really quite unbelievable and frustrating
