We just switched to the new Outlook and now it will not automatically capitalize like the older version would. Is there any way to turn this back on?

They just don't get it. Especially for those of us that use it at our work. We need the full functionality of it in order to be productive but my guess is that Microsoft doesn't care about that. They just want to make money off their sub par services.
And in the latest update yesterday they still have NOT fixed the issue, it beggars belief that they just go backwards sometimes !!
My 'Editor' button is always greyed out, I cant see the 'gear' button described here ??

Go to your system settings on the Mac. Go to keyboard and click on Text Input, then click on Text Replacements...
From there click on the + sign and have lowercase I replaced with uppercase I. It will then do it in all your applications no matter where you work where the I is standing alone.
