Have upgraded to the new Outlook.

I used to be able to easily share a word doc or pdf version as an attachment onto email.

It currently still loads up the old outlook when using this feature. i want it to open up the new outlook when using the share feature on word.

Same issue, doesn't hinder me much, but most users struggle with working around this issue. Best advice I have for them is don't use New Outlook.

Is New Outlook still considered Beta?

This is not answering the question. The answer should be a fix not a way to temporarily solve the issue.

We need a fix for this. We cannot send emails from word, excel, powerpoint. It tries to send from old outlook and not the new one and then emails get stuck because old outlook is not open at that time. Microsoft trying to shove new outlook on our faces but basic functionality is not working at all.
