Have upgraded to the new Outlook.
I used to be able to easily share a word doc or pdf version as an attachment onto email.
It currently still loads up the old outlook when using this feature. i want it to open up the new outlook when using the share feature on word.

Is there a solution available for this yet? This workaround doesn't address the question, and I would also like a relevant answer.
I also want an answer on that. For information, I set Outlook new in the default App for the MAILTO protocol.
I am still wondering why Microsoft have so much pain to offer a real User Experience. It is insane!
Hi! We have spent 5 hours connecting the new Outlook version to Word and we are so disappointed that this simple option is not available yet.
I one-up this problem, I didn't realize that they weren't sending either and had a whole bunch of files stacked in outbox when I finally checked
Also anxious for a response. I don't use Word much but have the same issue with Excel and also File Explorer.
