Have upgraded to the new Outlook.
I used to be able to easily share a word doc or pdf version as an attachment onto email.
It currently still loads up the old outlook when using this feature. i want it to open up the new outlook when using the share feature on word.

Doesn't work for me. When I click on send in Word it keeps opening Outlook classic.
I absolutely hate this.
It's the same with postponed send, it only works when the computer is turned on which renders the feature useless. So you have to work around it and adjust settings in Outlook Classic. Absolutely unbelievable these are two of Microsoft it's main software programs. Makes me wonder if there are interested at all in users.
I cannot understand why such a bug cannot be fixed by Microsoft after so many months.
Incomprehensible
Apparently it is going to be addressed in this rollout ?

I am in agreement and have this same issue. Did not realize initially that the emails were sitting in the outbox when I hit send. I have created my own workaround when sending from inside of a document. When the old version pops up (which I deleted from my apps so have no idea how this can happen) I just open a second email to send. I send the one with the attachment and wait a minute before closing the blank message and old outlook. Slightly quicker than the save and attach option and sometimes what I send doesn't need to be saved.
