Have upgraded to the new Outlook.
I used to be able to easily share a word doc or pdf version as an attachment onto email.
It currently still loads up the old outlook when using this feature. i want it to open up the new outlook when using the share feature on word.

October is almost over and still the feature does not work, please, it is really frequently used and crucial for the daily work of some of the users

Same issue. The only positive one on the new client is the snooze mails button. It just needs so much improvements that I find it strange that it doesn't have a beta label and is being pushed so hard.
Plusing up the problem. I have had multiple important emails never be received due to sitting in the outbox of the old app. Very frustrating and consumers deserve a solution
I agree with the most previous post.
This does not solve the issue at hand. When you share a document it still opens the old outlook and then does not send.
Not sure about anyone else, but Windows 11 with NEW Outlook this post does not solve the issue. Quite frankly I am so tired of hearing the complaints about it from the end users!
