Sharing from Word to Outlook still opens the old Outlook and not the new one so the emails are not sending.

Have upgraded to the new Outlook.

I used to be able to easily share a word doc or pdf version as an attachment onto email.

It currently still loads up the old outlook when using this feature. i want it to open up the new outlook when using the share feature on word.

    This is how I originally stared using the new outlook. I tried this again since the classic was open from trying to share a document and it still did not work. Thanks for the idea.

    Nope. Got error saying could not start new Outlook. Why can't we remove the old Outlook? Sigh.
