Using New Outlook on Windows for personal email, calendar, and contact management
Wow, thank you! I stopped trying/testing to see if it would start working so you've now changed my life!

Before I switched to new outlook, I was able to double click on attachments and they would open to their specific apps. Ex. If it was a PDF it would open with Acrobat; If it was a word doc, it would open with word. Now I have to click the download button and it default saves to my downloads folder instead of being put where I want it in the beginning. I also can't drag attachments from an email to the specific folder I want to save it to on my desktop. I have to download and then move it from my downloads folder.
I know it's probably just a new process I'll have to get used to, but hey maybe someone knows a hack!
Thank you in advance :)

Wow! Thank you for the information. I will give it a try when I'm feeling brave. And to think, the may have fixed this before I retire!

I get multiple attachments, like 15 at a time, how can I open them all at once without having to preview each item individually and then open. That's 30 actions as opposed to one. Or if I don't preview it, 15 instead of one.
Agreed! Has anyone found a workaround? Such a waste of time and space not being able to double-click and view as before
I have just gone back to the old Outlook until they fix this an other problems! I was wasting too much time downloading before I could open an attachment. They obviously don't care to fix this!
