I have a Microsoft account and have forgotten the password. I want to sing in with it on some other website or app. The sign in page is showing that they have sent the verification code and if I check my outlook, I have not received any code.

For some reasons, I cannot change the password of my @outlook account, and whenever I try to change my password, it says I don’t have access to this site for now. I removed the old alternative recovery email associated with the account and now I'm being told to wait 30 days to change the password! Any tips on how I can fix this problem without having to wait that long.
