Outlook attachments showing in body of email rather than attached to it

We have one user whose email attachments always show in the body of her emails rather than as attachments. We have already confirmed that her default format is HTML. I have watched her process for attaching them and it is exactly as I do them and mine always show as attachments. Please advise. *I have since learned that this was a changed instituted by Microsoft and now all links show up in the body of the email rather than as an attachment. Not a glitch; just a bad update.

2024-09-24T12:11:17+00:00 I found the solution!! When working on the email with a PDF attachment (or forwarding an email with a PDF attachment) find the "Attach file via link" tab on top. You may have to pop out your email draft to see it. There's a red Adobe Acrobat logo on it.
- Click the 'attach file via link' tab
- Click Settings
- Unclick 'Automatically send attachments using Adobe cloud storage'
- You may also want to unclick 'always prompt while attaching' so you don't accidentally opt in again!
- You may also want to unclick 'prompt to open PDF attachments in Adobe Acrobat' as this is obviously a ploy with Outlook for people to default to Adobe products, and you can use whatever PDF reader you darn well please!

2024-09-05T15:20:57+00:00 I'm having the same issue. All my PDF, Word, Excel and JPEGs are embedding into the body of the email. Argh!!
