Right-click on the taskbar on your computer and select Task Manager. 2. Go to the Startup tab. 3. Find Outlook in the list Right-click on "Enabled" and click "Disable" to disable it from automatically starting This should automatically stop Outlook from opening when you start your computer If you have any questions, please let me know I will be more than happy to help you further. I had the same problem but it wasn't just on start up. If I stepped away from the computer for a bit, I would return to 3 or 4 open tabs of Outlook. None of the solutions suggested here worked. I didn't try the registry solution (way above my limited skill set) but I tried all the others without success. I did however notice something in Settings/Apps. My problems began when I was obligated to switch to New Outlook and I saw two Outlook icons in Apps. I uninstalled the old one, restarted my computer and that solved my problem. That was 3 days ago and Outlook hasn't popped up once since then...I hope this helps.
