When Outlook (new) updated it decided that upon turning on and signing in to my computer, that it would open. I cannot for the life of me find the setting to turn this off. APPS SHOULD NOT OPEN UNLESS I CLICK THE ICON.

That part at least was easy. I just went to settings (upper right), then accounts, then add account. I couldn't help with the calendar since I never use it.
Thanks. I am not using Outlook in Office as my version of Office is very old and I don't want to pay a (now) yearly subscription I just use the internet link however as I found later I can select an 'icon' with my initials near top left and it displays my current hotmail email address and below that my other hotmail email address which when selected closes the initial account and opens the other. Maybe a better method is available but that will do me.
I don't use office (unless forced LOL) and they'd better not start charging me for this forced change to outlook. I'll bail so fast their heads will spin.
Disabled Newoulook in the registry
