How to TURN OFF auto start of OUTLOOK (NEW) on computer?

I am not using Outlook in Office as my version of Office is very old and I don't want to pay a (now) yearly subscription I just use the internet link however as I found later I can select an 'icon' with my initials near top left and it displays my current hotmail email address and below that my other hotmail email address which when selected closes the initial account and opens the other. Maybe a better method is available but that will do me.

That part at least was easy. I just went to settings (upper right), then accounts, then add account. I couldn't help with the calendar since I never use it.

Yes, that's it. So far it's worked for me, although I keep expecting it to screw up every time I turn on the computer. I am surprised you lost the calendar. I never use it, but it's still there in Outlook, over on the left.

Found how to do that. I had mail pinned to my taskbar so right clicked on it and selected uninstall. Trouble is that I have lost the Calendar as well - annoying.
