How to TURN OFF auto start of OUTLOOK (NEW) on computer?

When Outlook (new) updated it decided that upon turning on and signing in to my computer, that it would open. I cannot for the life of me find the setting to turn this off. APPS SHOULD NOT OPEN UNLESS I CLICK THE ICON.

    I answered my own question about why Outlook 2016 starts at boot when it is not in any startup list. I still do not know why it happens, but I was able to stop it from starting automatically. In Windows 10, by going to Settings >> APPS and looking for Office in the App list, I found two entries for MS Office, one for (Office) New Outlook and one for Office 2016. By UNINSTALLING the offending 2016 entry, it no longer starts at boot. I credit information from tenforums in this topic for the APPS information.

    I have New Outlook running ok. However, when I boot my computer, Outlook 2016 starts also. When I look in Task Manager > Startup, Outlook (2016) is NOT running, so I cannot disable it. If I remove the outlook.pst that it tries to use, Outlook 2016 complains it can't find the file. I cannot find any startup list that says to start Outlook. What causes Outlook 2016 to start?

    Could you specify which Key in \SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Office\16.0\Outlook\Preferences we should change the value from 1 to a 0?

    Disabled Newoulook in the registry

    change the value from 1 to 0

    Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Office\16.0\Outlook\Preferences

    I don't use office (unless forced LOL) and they'd better not start charging me for this forced change to outlook. I'll bail so fast their heads will spin.
