How to TURN OFF auto start of OUTLOOK (NEW) on computer?

When Outlook (new) updated it decided that upon turning on and signing in to my computer, that it would open. I cannot for the life of me find the setting to turn this off. APPS SHOULD NOT OPEN UNLESS I CLICK THE ICON.

I don't see start up manger.

Please go to settings -> account -> sign-in options

Scroll to the bottom for "Use my sign-in info to automatically finish setting up my device after an update or restart"

Turn that option off.

Basically, it doesn't fully close out, so it always comes back at launch. This means that even if you close it on startup, it has already launched and, due to the not closing issue, will never fully close. Lather, rinse, repeat...there it is, next startup.

turn that setting off and it goes away.

Let us see if the following works. Before you begin:

1. Make a restore point.
2. Take Backup of the registry.

Here you go:

1.Open Windows Terminal, and select either Windows PowerShell or Command Prompt.

2. Copy and paste the command below into Windows Terminal, and press Enter to see a list of all startup apps for your account and their registry location.

wmic startup get caption,user,location

3. Make note of the registry Location (ex: "HKU\S-1-5-21-2212846312-626644311-134141314-1001\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run") for the startup app Caption you want to remove from running at startup for your account.
4. Open Registry Editor (regedit.exe)
5. Copy and paste the registry Location (ex: "HKU\S-1-5-21-2212846312-626644311-134141314-1001\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run") from step 3 for the startup app Caption you want to remove into the address bar of Registry Editor, and press Enter to open that location.
6. In the right pane, right click on the startup app Name you want to remove, and click/tap on Delete.
7. Click/tap on Yes to approve deleting.

me too cannot find it in start up microsoft must address this as i will also delete outlook
