How can I stop Outlook 'new' Calendar snapping to the time of day, rather than showing all hours of the weekly view

Hello - I am trying to get Outlook 'new' to stop scrolling down or snapping to the correct time of the day. It moves the whole view of the week down so that by the afternoon I cannot check what appointments there are the next morning without having to scroll up wards each time. It happens every time I return to this week's calendar after checking future weeks.

I have tried to adjust my 'working times' - that doesn't help.

Only way I can get a reasonable work around is to change the timescale to 60 mins, but that's not a great solution as it leaves everything veeery small and then I have early morning hours e.g. 2am on view constantly, which are not core office hours!!

Could anyone help me find a way around this?? Thanks!

    Hello Eben-Ezer,

    I have the same issue as all the people in the comments, and I tried both workarounds (working time + time zones) unsuccessfully.

    Personally I'd say I don't need an option, simply that new Outlook remembers where I left my calendar the last time I saw it. It doesn't have to be current time or start of day, simply leave it where it is (at least until the application is restarted).

    I didn't read through all the responses but this has helped....

    From Calendar, when in the "work week" view, click on Time Scale. I chose the 60 minute one and it allows me to see more of my day.

    Yes, very annoying behaviour. I've tried a number of the workarounds listed here. Somewhat helpful but still annoying. And a time waster...to have to scroll up and down to see your meetings in your daily view.

    For me, the combination of setting work hours for all 7 days of the week and also disabling time zone adjustments seems to have "cured" it for now--and that has endured through updates. (knock on wood, lol)

    Thanks for the suggestion of setting work hours for the weekends, too. This view change just happened to me today and I can't figure out why. My work hours have been M-F 8-5 forever so there's no reason it should have suddenly started showing the day start at midnight. But adding a short 1 hour shift 10a-11a on both weekends fixed the issue.
