Hello - I am trying to get Outlook 'new' to stop scrolling down or snapping to the correct time of the day. It moves the whole view of the week down so that by the afternoon I cannot check what appointments there are the next morning without having to scroll up wards each time. It happens every time I return to this week's calendar after checking future weeks.
I have tried to adjust my 'working times' - that doesn't help.
Only way I can get a reasonable work around is to change the timescale to 60 mins, but that's not a great solution as it leaves everything veeery small and then I have early morning hours e.g. 2am on view constantly, which are not core office hours!!
Could anyone help me find a way around this?? Thanks!

HEY. Have you this fixed yet?? It's been over a year since this person posted this. The snapping is annoying AF.
I am having the same problem; here is my outlook version:

How do we stop it from snapping to the current time? I'd like my calendar to stay stagnant at 8AM no matter what time of day it currently is when I look at my upcoming appointments.
I am also having it scroll to midnight and have tried multiple fixes. If you change your work hours on ALL days of the week (including Saturday & Sunday) to 7 or 8 am, it will snap to that time instead of midnight. Also if you change the font size on your entire computer display settings to 100%, it shows you more of your calendar in one view without having to switch to 60 minute appointments. Hope this helps!
Thank you! It is unfortunate that I have to fudge my work schedule to make this work, but it solved the calendar auto-scrolling problem so I'll take it! I found that this works even if I just set my "work hours" on the weekends to 8am-8:30am. Seems like as long as those work hours exist at all that it will stop auto-scrolling. Thank you again!
Thinking about it, I'm pretty sure someone in "Day" view had an epiphany that scrolling to the current time of day would be nice. The specifications forgot to restrict this use case to "day" view, and the scrolling happens for week view (or possibly month view too) by mistake, which ruins the experience. Could you add an "if (view_mode == "Day")" to this feature maybe Eben-Ezer?

Thanks for the suggestion of setting work hours for the weekends, too. This view change just happened to me today and I can't figure out why. My work hours have been M-F 8-5 forever so there's no reason it should have suddenly started showing the day start at midnight. But adding a short 1 hour shift 10a-11a on both weekends fixed the issue.
