I need to know how to add columns to my Outlook Folders. Those settings did not migrate to the new Outlook. There is no option to change columns with the Field Chooser. Very frustrating. Please help!!

Respectfully, that's not the issue--I assume most folks here (like me) have a license for Outlook and are still using Classic Outlook, but want the "New Outlook" to have this feature.
Already have a O365 subscription which allows use of classic version (for now). The nag button wants to switch to the new version which has less features.
It seems that M$ is trying to merge the web version functionality with their local client which results in loss of functions.

Someone posted how you can change the view bar. OK, that is ok. But for instance, you choose received by date, or from and still you cannot collapse it compiled under one line.
I have never used subfolders. I was told by an expert, that it slows down Outlook, So I started using Categories'. In the new outlook, I cannot add categories in the view bar on top of my emails. SO not collapse possibilities as well. This I hop I find back email relating to certain topics.
I have send my feedback to MS, when I changed back to the old version.
I will never get an answer and also on this forum, they will not respond at all.
We just have to wait until the switch back button does not exist anymore.

How do you see a date in the field chooser. i understand that the field chooser does not exist, but a simple heading like Date is also missing. i want to see the date and the time - both of these on the top pane.
Many a good times i receive an email from the same person, 15-20 times in a day and the same subject and it makes it easy to search the email with the date/time, both fields.
