I need to know how to add columns to my Outlook Folders. Those settings did not migrate to the new Outlook. There is no option to change columns with the Field Chooser. Very frustrating. Please help!!

Field Chooser is an essential part of how I set up my Outlook. We need this feature added back immediately. I cannot even comprehend how Microsoft could remove this feature.
How has it been over a year and Microsoft still hasn't restored the Field Chooser to the "new Outlook"? It is reasons like this that people opt not to update programs until forced to do so. Please make this a priority - it is essential to my daily communications as a Project Manager to be able to choose which columns appear in my inbox and other folders.
I switched to new Outlook today after one of my issues was fixed (ie. sorting folders), only to discover another showstopper issue. It's back to classic Outlook for me.
I wouldn't hold your breath for Field Chooser to be included in new Outlook. According to the below link for classic vs new feature comparison, Field Chooser isn't even a feature of classic Outlook!

To change your view so that you can see From | Subject | Received Date, go to View Settings > Layout > Message Height. Make sure you select "Switch between one and multiple rows based on screen size". This fixed the issue for me.
The issue is not that we can't see the field sorters, it's that there is no option to choose additional fields to use for sorting.
