The New Outlook does not appear to have Field Chooser to customize Outlook Folders

I switched to new Outlook today after one of my issues was fixed (ie. sorting folders), only to discover another showstopper issue. It's back to classic Outlook for me.

I wouldn't hold your breath for Field Chooser to be included in new Outlook. According to the below link for classic vs new feature comparison, Field Chooser isn't even a feature of classic Outlook!

How has it been over a year and Microsoft still hasn't restored the Field Chooser to the "new Outlook"? It is reasons like this that people opt not to update programs until forced to do so. Please make this a priority - it is essential to my daily communications as a Project Manager to be able to choose which columns appear in my inbox and other folders.

Field Chooser is an essential part of how I set up my Outlook. We need this feature added back immediately. I cannot even comprehend how Microsoft could remove this feature.

This definitely needs to be fixed - having additional columns is a huge efficiency measure, in sorting and filtering and in scanning for certain messages.

It is frustrating beyond belief and is why I continue to remain with the old Outlook, even though I'd prefer to switch to the newest version. Basic functionality removed, for reasons that just aren't clear or apparent. I don't have the same frustration with Microsoft products and frankly generally like them a lot. But this is a weird situation (not clear if it is oversight or a specific decision) that I've not experienced in other Microsoft products over the last 25+ years.
