The New Outlook does not appear to have Field Chooser to customize Outlook Folders

I believe this thread/forum is here merely to let people vent. The thread is over a year old and I haven't seen any response from MS (but I'm happy to be corrected).

I would be interested to know what criteria and measure the Product Owner is using to consider the product as 'user accepted'?

Clearly, they have de-valued this feature without proper investigation.

Field Chooser is an essential part of how I set up my Outlook. We need this feature added back immediately. I cannot even comprehend how Microsoft could remove this feature.

My mind is blown at how this issue has persisted for a full year and Microsoft still has yet to respond.

For anyone else whose searches for a solution led them to this thread, leave a comment about how disappointed you are that Microsoft continues to defy all reason and needlessly disrupt a perfectly good workflow by taking away basic features found in every other alternative email client, but still demands we give them money and run our businesses with their buggy, insecure, nonsensical operating system.

Keep this thread going forever so they have to acknowledge their failure.

I truly hope Microsoft collapses in the coming years. It would not make up for the decades of frustration they have caused me, both at work and at home, but it would be a great start.

Imagine thinking removing something as basic as being able to edit columns in an email view pane was a good idea. Fire the person who had it.

I find it astonishing that in a MS forum, the one party that does not feel it useful to respond is MS itself. There is nothing on the product pages to explain the loss in functionality or the rationale to do this? MS use to be associated with grown up enterprise but it seems to have joined the "google" way to doing stuff. Minimum functionality for the same or more money. I think I will hang on to my old Outlook binaries and stop upgrading as long as I can. The new system is unusable.

Not adding the ability to add a "To" field is unfathomable. It should honestly be part of the default setup. Please add field chooser to the app.
