Hello, I have install copilot on my desktop but I cannot for the life of me figure out how to install this into my outlook ( I am signed in). I have this and it is not working either. Launch Outlook . Click on the File menu. Select Options near the bottom left. Under Compose messages , check the checkbox for Enable Microsoft 365 Copilot . If you can’t find the option, click the Editor Options button. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much. Justin

All the advice provided above aren't accurate. One has to first subscribe to a Pro account before the service can function in Outlook. Is this that difficult for a moderator to say...? I thought the same thing! It must be "that hard" to speak specifically for the requirements. Microsoft doesn't make it clear and obvious to end users, and unless you are a good web-searcher, it can be difficult for a user to find and interpret the requirements.

This is very dumb. If I switch to new outlook, I get copilot but I lose access to team inboxes that I use daily. Those are only available in the old outlook. So I guess i'm stuck with the old outlook without copilot available because I cannot lose access to my team inboxes. We are stuck in this very odd and frustrating position - that Microsoft is making "New Outlook" available and still supporting "Classic Outlook" until 2029. During that time, "New Outlook" will continue to receive updates and some feature-alignment with "Classic Outlook" - but in the interim, we are stuck with the feature/function variance between the new and classic versions. I'm completely understanding your frustration, and share the same concern. We will likely be left in this situation for several years - or until New Outlook features align with the Classic (at Microsoft's discretion). Some users reported that they are licensed and not seeing the Copilot option; however, according to this document Draft by Copilot in classic Outlook for Windows ( https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/roadmap?featureid=190937), Copilot is available for Classic Outlook. It isn't stated but having a Copilot license is assumed to be a requirement. Also, Draft by Copilot in classic Outlook for Windows ( https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/roadmap?featureid=388753) is also a feature that is supported with Classic Outlook. (still assuming that Copilot license is required)

I thought the same thing! It must be "that hard" to speak specifically for the requirements. Microsoft doesn't make it clear and obvious to end users, and unless you are a good web-searcher, it can be difficult for a user to find and interpret the requirements.
