Install Copilot to outlook

Hello,

I have install copilot on my desktop but I cannot for the life of me figure out how to install this into my outlook ( I am signed in). I have this and it is not working either.

  1. Launch Outlook.
  2. Click on the File menu.
  3. Select Options near the bottom left.
  4. Under Compose messages, check the checkbox for Enable Microsoft 365 Copilot.
  5. If you can’t find the option, click the Editor Options button.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    can someone show images of these steps. i cannot find any selection that says options when clicking on file. this is for Mac, correct?

    NO OPTION FOR MS 365 Copilot.. I have Copilot options in all my other MS 365 software...

    Not available options in my Outlook:

    1. Compose message > Enable Microsoft 365 Copilot
    2. Use Copilot to help me write better emails

    Not related to this thread, but you should see the inboxes under 'Shared with me', I had the same problem.

    I had the same problem.

    According to this article https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/draft-an-email-message-with-copilot-in-outlook-3eb1d053-89b8-491c-8a6e-746015238d9b "Drafting (with Copilot) in Outlook for Microsoft 365 is currently available in new Outlook for Windows, Outlook on the web, and Outlook.com. If you have classic Outlook, Get new Outlook."

    The problem is that the "New Outlook" is considerably limited in functionality especially for elaborate setups with multiple accounts, many inbox rules, etc. Like another person commented, it is either "Classic Outlook with all its features" or "New Outlook with limited features and Copilot".

    Typical Microsoft bullsh*t in my opinion. I am cancelling my Copilot trial.

    I can use copilot in Word, Excel, Ppt, but not in Outlook... why?
