I still can't find those toggles.
Let me describe my observation. I and my wife share the same subscription, Both my Android and PC have Copilot feature in outlook.
But my wife's Android and PC, totally not able to make it.
Search through the setting, two accounts can't find any switch about CoPilot.
I think that is account profile problem, and that are not exposed to users.
Blue is my case, which have Copilot.
Pink is my wifes', I cant make Copilot enabled.
"New Outlook" is extremely limited and does NOT allow viewing PST files, which I need. When will Copilot be capable of supporting "regular" Outlook.
If I go to browser-based Outlook, I can log in using one of my two MS accounts. Under one email, I have an account at GoDaddy, with IMAP mailbox. Under another email, I have a license for MS 365. If I log in with my GoDaddy account, I don't see the Copilot in Outlook, but if I log in with my email that has a license for MS 365, I see the Copilot icon.
In Outlook for desktop, Product Info shows that it is properly licensed and even shows the Copilot icon among the applications under the license. In this Outlook I have three email accounts configured: the one associated with my GoDaddy account, the one with MS 365 license, and one more (with no MS account). No matter which account I use to write my email, Copilot is not present, even though "Enable Copilot" option is checked. Interestingly enough, I do have the Copilot icon present in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Huh?
I think that having multiple email accounts is what causes this mess. I doubt that it is possible to fix it or even to report this situation: MS is way too big to pay attention to its customers 😒
- Launch Outlook.
- Click on the File menu.
- Select Options near the bottom left.
- Under Compose messages, check the checkbox for Enable Microsoft 365 Copilot.
- If you can’t find the option, click the Editor Options button.
After my Co-Pilot license was added to my account, after a few days I suddenly got a version update and then upon restarting Co-Pilot just appeared in the ribbon and the side nav... No idea how or why.
These options do not show any "Enable Microsoft 365 Copilot" option anywhere in Options or settings that I can find - both before i had the update, and now even after I have 365 enabled. So I have yet to find any checkbox to enable or disable Co-Pilot...
I am not sure why Microsoft has made this so difficult even if activate and deploy in the Admin centre still copilot is nowhere to be seen on the client machines.
