How to change my mobile Outlook font back to calibri?

I tested this as well. Here are more detailed list of instructions:

1. Send an email to yourself from your Outlook desktop client. In the body of the email, type the following in the Calibri font (should be default):

“Start typing after arrow, DELETE before sending -> ”

1. Open the email in Outlook Mobile, highlight the text above in the body of the email, choose “Copy” (long press -> Select All -> Copy)
2. Exit email and navigate to Outlook Mobile settings (Home button to the left of Inbox, click “gear” icon in the bottom left corner.
3. Click on “Signature” and PASTE the text above into the Signature field. Click the checkbox in the upper-right when done.

FOR NEW EMAILS:

1. Compose a new email, typing your message AFTER the arrow as instructed. DELETE the signature text and extra space before sending.

FOR REPLIES/FORWARDS:

1. Click “Reply” to an email.
2. Click the diagonal arrow in the right corner of the message window
3. Click “Load full message” at the bottom of the email
4. Type your message AFTER the arrow as instructed. DELETE the signature text and extra space before sending

NOTE: You will have to do this for all emails (particularly REPLIES) otherwise the “Start typing after arrow, DELETE before sending -> ” text will be included in emails.

Even though this works, it is NOT a solution. @Microsoft please fix this asap.

I tried your workaround but unfortunately it worked only partially. While it first sends my test email correctly in calibri (the font i chose to try out), when I FORWARD my test email again to myself as a second test, the font reverts back to Aptos. So the forward and reply functions don't maintain the chosen font.

The frustration continues. It's totally incomprehensible why Microsoft imposes a poor font on us and doesn't resolve the issue.

There are very little options including the simple undo and redo. I know you can change away from the swipe keyboard and rotate the device then use the shortcut CTRL and X for cut or CTRL and Y together to add back.

Mine is some script font, which I cannot change. It isn't even the aptos. the script is cursive looking and very hard to read. I have been unable to change it no matter what I do.

As our signatures are generated for us, we cannot change this, there is no option.

My workaround is to create either Hi, Hello, or whatever I would start the email with in Calibri font in blue, size 11 to match my email. I save the email several times as drafts on my PC/Laptop on Outlook. When I use my mobile, I go into the outlook email client and go to the Drafts folder. I copy this text, go into the inbox, click new email then paste this into the body.

This does not work for the next email if you go into the clipboard as this stores it as normal unformatted text. If you leave it a few hours after copying then it will not keep the format. You have to go back into your drafts folder

Unfortunately this is the only way it can be done.
