Email Attachments in the new version of outlook.

I use the new version of outlook. The drop down menu for attachments, suggests three files; none is the most recent file used/saved. I have to go into my word documents folders, find the file, and open it to attach it to an email. How can I get the drop down menu of suggested files to display my most recently worked on file?

    Despite the bad turn the new outlook takes, it is at least more user friendly than yahoo mail. OMG. what a headache that is.

    and Gmail is so full of unwanted ads and spam: very cumbersome.

    what will it take to force Microsoft to get all the old features in the new outlook? lets pick a day to all call their support number. or better yet: does anyone know Bill Gates number?

    I have the same issue, but cannot go back to the old version, and understand that the new Outlook will be shoved down all throats 1/1/25. Hope someone can offer a solution that does work.

    So is there still no solution to this? My three suggested files were opened five days to a week ago and I'd love to have a "recent items" choice in Outlook 365 webmail rather than basically "useless items".

    We need to keep this thread alive... Recent Files was a super useful feature in the old Oultook. Hunting around File Explorer and dragging/dropping files into emails in new Outlook is a time killer!
