Using New Outlook on Windows for personal email, calendar, and contact management
Ctrl-F was never an option for me as it doesn't copy the To and CC contents, just the contents of the email. I've been given a workaround to revert to the previous version of Outlook. I don't know if this will work for everyone, but it worked on my company laptop. Posting here in case anyone's setup is the same ...
- Close the new version of Outlook
- Click Start and type Outlook. Click on the first icon you see that comes up. You should receive an error message stating that the file to which the shortcut points doesn't exist. Click on the Yes prompt to delete the shortcut.
- Again click Start and type Outlook. Click on the first icon that comes up & this should open the previous version of Outlook. Pin to taskbar if needed.
