How do I make a copy of the same draft email the new Outlook?

I often have to send alot of the same email, but slightly different variations. In the old outlook, I would go to my Drafts and CTRL + C and then CTRL + V to make multiple copies of the same draft email.

I am not able to do this in the New Outlook 365. Is there a workaround or new way to do this?

This seems to work differently on Outlook for Mac. Saving as an email message does allow you to open and send the same email but it does not give you the ability to change the recipient or edit the email content.

On a Mac, saving the draft as an email template instead of a plain email does the trick.

This process does not work in Outlook for Mac Version 16.98.1.

    SOLUTION:

    • It is still possible to use CTRL + C and CTRL + V.
    • The trick is to make sure that your mouse cursor is in the right place.

    STEPS:

      1. In the default view of the drafts folder, click on the name of the draft email you want to copy. When you do, your mouse cursor goes into the body of the draft, assuming you want to edit the body. That's the problem.
      1. Click the name of the draft email you want to copy a second time. You can't double click too fast, or the draft email opens in a new window, so give it a couple seconds.
      1. CTRL + C
      1. CTRL + V
