I am a support consultant for many customers. Getting a bunch of calls this morning (03/21/2024) about Legacy Mac version 16.8x and above not syncing.
If they switch to New Outlook, no issues. Online is also working.
Why would Legacy stop working today for some? Running Mac OS X 13.x and 14.x with same issue.
Please advise.

STILL NOT WORKING ON MY END - 4 DAYS WITHOUT SERVICE
Still not working at 9AM CET.
How is it possible that Microsoft causes an outage for it business users of Outlook, and four days later it still does not work? How come this is being treated so unprofessionally by Microsoft?
Still not working at 11.55 AM CET.
Yes, this is terrible on Microsoft's part. I was actually NOT having any problem last week. It seems the problem started Friday 3/22 afternoon when they were supposed to be fixing the issue.
New Outlook is unworkable. I need to be able to see a "To" field in my inbox to identify emails that are a priority for me to address (the filter is junk — it includes CC's), and I need access to Public Folders. Not to mention it just looks awful and uses screen real estate inefficiently.
Outlook 16.83.1

And also, Microsoft, can you make it any easier to accidentally delete an email? Seriously, NEW Outlook is one of the worst redesigns I've ever seen. This is why you have so many users still on Legacy.
