I am a support consultant for many customers. Getting a bunch of calls this morning (03/21/2024) about Legacy Mac version 16.8x and above not syncing.
If they switch to New Outlook, no issues. Online is also working.
Why would Legacy stop working today for some? Running Mac OS X 13.x and 14.x with same issue.
Please advise.

Still not working at 7PM CET.
Why some people are now connecting and others not may have something to do with the domain one is connecting to and whether Microsoft runs various cloud servers, all of which have not had the fix applied to. That's all I can think of. I can't believe that Microsoft runs everything through a single server source.

9:34am PST "Legacy" outlook is syncing and working. Thank you for fixing the issue.
To Microsoft, calling it "Legacy" and forcibly making people have to switch from new to Legacy makes me INCREDIBLY nervous that Legacy will be sunset. Not a customer-facing approach.
I'm of the "Inbox Zero" people and the new outlook doesn't work this way. More importantly, I probably COULD use the new Outlook if only there was a way to not show EVERY single email in a thread in my inbox. I have dozens of folders for a reason and it's to put away old content that can referenced later, but I don't need it immediately visible my inbox. Inbox should only show what's in the inbox. Make that a toggle/switch and you miiiiiight covert some people.
