New Outlook keeps auto-opening at boot and can't disable

Hi, the issue is simple:

after the update to New Outlook, it runs at boot time and I don't know how to disable this. Can't find any setting in the app or an entry in the Task Manager Boot tab.

    Tried all of this. Outlook didn't appear in either place and does not appear in startup list.

    I think I've found a workaround to this problem. Disable Background Apps for BOTH Outlook (new) AND Mail and Calendar. You'll notice how you can switch between new Outlook and Mail/Calendar. My theory is that new Outlook still depends on Mail/Calendar and disabling Background Apps for both prevents Automatic startup of new Outlook.

    So far so good.

    This worked for me, specifically disabling background apps for the mail/ calendar. Disabling just outlook didn't work by itself. It's been over a week and still good.

    Go to accounts, Sign in options and near the bottom and turn off 'use my sign in info to finish setting up'
