Microsoft Read Aloud for New Outlook

I'm not seeing the "Read Aloud" option on the "New" version of Outlook. It's not under accessibility settings like the "old" Outlook. Seems like this feature was overlooked.

    Hi - I am having the same issue. I was funded via access to work for read and write - however I chose to decline it this year as I was using the read out loud function. Now I really regret my choice as the function has gone in outlook.

    I find it really unhelpful for Microsoft to make a sweeping judgement that everyone who needs to hear their drafts and emails needs to have immersive reader - how about actually giving the customers a choice.

    As you can tell - I am getting really exasperated.

    If anyone found a fix - please let me know.

    There is no Read Aloud function in the mail composition window. Immersive reader is entirely unhelpful if you are trying to utilize Read Aloud while composing new emails.

    Tried to use "New" (2024) Outlook for about a week. This is a showstopper for me as well. TTS really needs to be standard feature accessible in all MS applications.

    This should not be such a hard fix. MS should just add the “Read Aloud” function in all their applications. It is an accessibility concern.

    Dear Microsoft,

    I feel you decision to remove the read aloud function had impacted by disability and I would highly recommend that this function is reinstated in its full capacity as was in the previous version.

    Turning this accessibility function should not take delay as it hinders our ability and is not considered as a inclusive platform.
