Microsoft Read Aloud for New Outlook

Yes, the immersive reader is a clumsy solution, hopefully the read allowed function will be back soon. I find it confusing that all other apps and platforms have progressed dramatically on this front yet Microsoft have gone backwards???

what a ball drop by Microsoft. This was a pivotal function for drafting error proof and concise emails.

I share this pain also, i love the new look but read aloud is key, i us it all the time on the old outlook.

Where is the Read Aloud option in the new outlook? It was in the Old version. The Immerse Reading option is awful. I can't use it while composing an email.

I agree. We need the Read Aloud feature. It was a useful tool for proofreading email before sending.

By removing this critical Read-Aloud feature, Microsoft has willfully abandoned professionals including government professionals with whom Microsoft entered into serious contracts to provide and upkeep services;

As well as abandoning the dyslexic users in violation of ADA Compliance Standards.
