What replaces the "Edit Message" button in the New Outlook?

How did you find the function when you switched back? I tried yesterday but couldnt find it!

Its called "More Move Actions"

You have to open the message you want to edit, Then, select the message tab, then click on the 3 dots at the far right, select actions, Edit.

That doesn't work for me. I don't have "Actions" showing in the 3-dot menu.

I instead need to use a procedure similar to what AnnaC 1 described above.

In the ribbon, use Move, Actions, Edit Message.

Long ago, I customized my ribbon to create a "New Group" containing "Edit Message" with its blue icon, so that I can edit a message with a single click on my Edit icon in the ribbon.

I'm using Outlook (classic, not new) in Microsoft 365 (Family). As far as I know, there have been no major changes in years. If the Enterprise version has some differences, I wouldn't know.

New Outlook, on the other hand, is completely different software, basically a web app in a "wrapper" instead of a traditional desktop app. It's not that Microsoft took the classic Outlook and changed it, "deleting" some features. Instead, they created a completely new "Outlook" program. Maybe in another year or two it will be as functional as the classic Outlook, but it seems Microsoft would rather see everyone switch to what many feel is an inadequate substitute.

I need this feature for work purposes!!!!!
