May I know the same function of "edit message" in the New Outlook?

We found by selecting the drop down and changing from simplified ribbon to classic ribbon we have the option for the edit button.
This didn't work for me. Are you able to share a screen shot?
I did not see it either, so a screen shot would be great. In the meantime, I am still switching to Classic Outlook, editing message, and then switching back. Less than ideal, but at least it gets the job done.
I found too many things lacking (ability to edit, sort folders, etc.) with New Outlook, so I switched back to Old Outlook and am happy. What does New Outlook give you that is worth these sacrifices?
What, indeed! Outlook has been a great product for a very long time, but every so often, it seems someone at Microsoft finds a way to mess it up. So often, it seems the programmers become enchanted with a fun, cool new way to do things, but ignore the people who use it. New users won't know what they're missing, but if asked, I'd recommend using an older version.
