May I know the same function of "edit message" in the New Outlook?

Definitely a required feature!! I use it for my own notes, but it's also used within shared email accounts to keep team members across any action taken. Please make this a priority enhancement.

Many people use emails trail to record and amend correspondence the removal of this means rather than edit a mail you have to edit and then send again more space used on allowance more drama.
Plus the removal of my OUTLOOK 2016 locally I am not happy with how things are going with MS Outlook.
I've worked in IT 30 years and have MS qualifications - its not great give us back outlook 2016
I have used Outlook for years, I could tap ‘edit’ highlight my emails then hit delete, no problem, BUT currently ‘edit’ is not appearing at the top of the email listings, so I can’t delete what I don’t want. What has happened?
Please bring back this feature asap - nobody forwards or replies with documents that were included earlier in the earlier email threads. I need to be able to attach the original documents for efficiency. Would not have updated if I knew this feature was not included.
