Using New Outlook on Windows for personal email, calendar, and contact management
This is ridiculous to remove this feature. We add **NOTES** to the team in the subject line all day long.

May I know the same function of "edit message" in the New Outlook?
SS of the classic outlook one is attached.

It is more than a year ago that it is being promised to come and still nothing!
Why the new versions are removing functions? It is absolutely nonsense!
Hi,
This is an integral function of how our team uses outlook. Please bring back this feature!
Lisa
I had the same question. I used the edit functions to make notes regarding the incoming email, e.g. thoughts on how may respond later or notes from a follow up phone call regarding the incoming email.
Is there a way to add a note to received email?
HA! What a giant turd the "new"Outlook is. I sincerely hope the engineers experience the same frustratsions in their home life that end users experience while trying to be productive using this **** tool. I'm convinced that coders in middle school could do better. The inbox sorting has been screwed up, you can no longer edit messages, the "ribbon" is an absolute joke. Congratulations, Microsoft engineers have succeeded in actually moving backwards and made a crappy product even crappier.
