May I know the same function of "edit message" in the New Outlook?
SS of the classic outlook one is attached.

How long must we wait!
As of now, you can't. In the meantime, I am switching to Classic Outlook, editing the message, and then switching back to the new version. I don't know that they will ever get it fixed, but at least we have a way around it. Good luck!
Without an Edit [removed_js], where can I find it again? Often I put Notes in the inbound email to keep up with a project. Where do I place or "Edit" the email and add my notes?
The feature is gone because Microsoft no longer cares about quality or their users.
New outlook is abysmal, but the "classic" outlook in 365 is also unusable. Before my company switched me to outlook 365 I could get through my 150 emails in about 10 minutes. It now takes 30 minutes. That's 20 minutes wasted per day and ONLY because I have stopped trying to fix things that MS breaks on a daily basis. Example: The drop-down list when you type a letter "v" expecting to bring up "******@gmail.com" brings up random addresses from god knows where, and then hides the full name, so you may send a purchase request to michelle at your church instead of michelle at your company.

Stop having children write code for adults. We do not care how pretty, laid out, interconnected with AI, etc. we just want to get through our email.
