What replaces the "Edit Message" button in the New Outlook?

May I know the same function of "edit message" in the New Outlook?

SS of the classic outlook one is attached.

    I had the same question. I used the edit functions to make notes regarding the incoming email, e.g. thoughts on how may respond later or notes from a follow up phone call regarding the incoming email.

    Is there a way to add a note to received email?

    Hi

    I am a Microsoft User not part of Microsoft.

    When I originally post my comment, I believed it was being posted to a Microsoft noticeboard not a noticeboard on the WWW.

    I sincerely hope Microsoft are listening to their users & maintain the functionality of Classic Outlook, the version that every user loves & enjoys.

    Time will tell.
