Using Outlook for Android in business environments for email and scheduling
Also having this issue can't access my work emails anymore from my phone.
Detects my email, made sure it's correct and that I'm up to date, authentication fails each time...

For some reason when my outlook app is not showing new emails, so I searched online and the advice on Microsoft site was to clear the apps cache and storage (which I did)
This has obviously removed all my setting on my phone so when i go into the app again it asked me to log in again, when i click this is automatically detects my outlook email address, I clock on this (it doesn't ask for password BTW - but i did try to just enter my email and password but same error message) but then just come up with an error saying " error occurred during authentication. Please try again later"
I am using the latest version of Outlook for Android app (27 Feb 2024) - 4.2405.2 (42405820).
I am using Android 14.
I started experiencing this issue today, Feb 27, 2024 as soon as I downloaded the Outlook app for Android.
I can log in successfully to this Yahoo Mail account, using Outlook for Windows, web etc. Only Outlook for Android is a problem.
I had issues with Google and Outlook accounts but then somehow they were resolved when suddenly the Outlook was able to sign in, even when there was the same error message displayed.
How can this be fixed, I need access to my emails asap
Thanks

Hello, I am having the same issue, and despite the suggested options, the ''error message'' is still the same.
Good morning, the solution below worked perfectly for my organization:
First part:
1 - Access > Microsoft 365 admin center
2 - Search for the user > Click on it > Go to Email > Email applications > Manage email applications > Enable "Exchange Web Services"
Second part:
1 - Open Powershell as admin
2 - Connect-ExchangeOnline
3 - Check release of outlook mobile, Must be set to True > Get-CASMailbox -Identity ******@dominio.com.br | Format-List *OutlookMobileEnabled*
4 - Set to True > Set-CASMailbox -Identity ******@dominio.com.br -OutlookMobileEnabled $true
Helpdesk answer 0.1?
Really, turn it off and back on?
