This person doesn't have a clue about New Outlook. There is no "File" tab and New Outlook does not currently support pst files.

Can anyone provide guidance on this? It is hard to believe Microsoft doesn't have a way to do this but the New Outlook doesn't support the use of pst files in importing previous version information nor is there a File tab any longer.

The old-fashioned way to go about this is to get the Microsoft 365 30-day free trial; it includes Classic Desktop Outlook. Use Outlook to move your .PST data into your Outlook.com mailbox and verify it all gets there, then cancel the subscription before the end of the 30-day trial period.

    Try Microsoft 365 for free

I have two office 365 accounts - one for the organization from which I recently retired and a new personal office 365 account. I want to move emails, calendar and contacts from my old account to the new one. Any suggestions. Since office 365 no longer has a file tab nor does it support pst files, I'm stumped. Thanks.

If you have a Personal M365 account, it very definitely comes with Classic Desktop Outlook, all you should have to do is install it and set it up. I have the Family M365 subscription and Classic Desktop Outlook, complete with File tab and .PST support is included. Outlook New is an Option but will not be a requirement until 2029, nor will it come with any M365 SKU until that time. I have both apps on my PC, both have their own icons, and both will run at the same time.
