I have all my old Outlook files copied onto disc (.pst) how do I install them onto NEW Outlook, I am migrating from an old Windows 10 computer to a new Windows 11 computer.

I've found the/a solution---for me anyway. By clicking the tiny arrow to the left of my email address in the 'mail' inbox/options column, will see all the files drop down. If preferred, the same arrow will close the list. I hope this works for you also.
The problem is there isn't a "File" option. Most of us already know how to import and export. With the Outlook app that they are making us use, there is no FILE option anywhere to be found. Can you suggest another way to import my .PST file? This is SO annoying... and couldn't have happeneds at a worst time. I rely on my email to get notifications on bills that need paid. I had all my emails set to filter into folders.. and I want all my emails and folder structure to be the same in their new (not as good as the desktop program) app. Can you help? I'd really appreciate it if you can.
Figures... why can't they leave stuff ALONE that we're all happy with. Why do they change things and then not allow the transfer of important information.. .grrrrrrrrr. I hope someone can help all of us with this crazy, insane, not necessary change!
I too have both of those, but Microsoft won't let my 'classic' connect anymore. It was working fine yesterday and I was trying to get my husbands to work with no success, so I had to switch him over to the 'New' and definitely not improved Outlook app. They said they were doing this for increased security.,.. well.. it stinks! They should have let us choose to continue using the desktop version we liked.
Solution: In the old Office365 Outlook Desktop application, connect your Office365 Outlook account using automatic settings. Then, slowly move your email folders by dragging and dropping them under the Inbox of the newly created account. After this procedure completes, you will also see your old POP email Folders with their contents if you log into Outlook.com via browser, so that's pretty cool.
I have NOT tried to copy my old POP Inbox emails to the newly created account yet, but my Folders are copying over just fine. I see them now, see pic below.
I will try to move my old POP emails from my Inbox next. If they don't move/copy directly to the new Inbox, I will copy them into a folder and then drag and drop the folder.
