Turn on autocorrect in NEW Outlook

I've switched to the new version of Outlook but autocorrect isn't on and I can't work out how to turn it on. There is no 'file' option in the new version of Outlook which is where it used to be in previous versions.

I am getting insane from this too... I would like to turn off automatic capitalizing because this is so annoying. I have to correct every second word, because it is autocorrected in bad way and I cannot to turn it off.

EDIT: I found it, there is a boolean to turn off automatic corrections of capitals!!!

Joining this thread to see if Microsoft gives any updates on this feature. Agree with all the posts here on how much time is wasted with this feature not being available.

Joining so I can get any updates from this thread.

I second this response - My partner is dyslexic and has grown into a role where he relies on email more and more. I was in the process of trying to help figure out how to create an auto-correct list of his commonly mis-spelt words and absolutely shocked to learn that this feature has not been included in the new outlook. Downright ridiculous. Technology should be making these things MORE accessible, not going backwards.

I myself have stuck with the original outlook as the new one just was not hitting the mark on many other levels. I might consider switching if and when they have all of the basic functionality sorted, agree with the other comments saying that it has been prematurely released.

Hi, I want to add my two cents as well. Not having auto correct for the most common words is crazy. I cannot believe it was excluded in the new Outlook. I am an IT consultant and have switched to learn about it so when my clients start switching over, I can help them. I have a few clients trying to use is and this is one of the biggest complaints. Just to add one more item, not being able to Quick Print an attachment is an issue as well. it went from two mouse clicks, to about 7 clicks and 3 window views. Do the programmers at Microsoft use Outlook? that is a question I have.
