Turn on autocorrect in NEW Outlook

I've switched to the new version of Outlook but autocorrect isn't on and I can't work out how to turn it on. There is no 'file' option in the new version of Outlook which is where it used to be in previous versions.

    Hi - thanks for the reply. I'm afraid it didn't. In the old version of Outlook, spelling mistakes and grammatical errors (such as making 'i' automatically capitalised happen automatically. From what you're saying here, in the new Outlook it looks like I have to open the Editor to correct everything afterwards.

    We are sorry to hear that you are facing a challenging trying to turn autocorrect on in the New Outlook. let's work together to have that sorted out for you.

    The autocorrect in the New Outlook, it has been renamed to "Editor".

    Once you open a new message, you can click Options > Editor > Open Editor

    Here is how to get to that based on your ribbon view (Simplified or Classic)

    an extra panel will open to the right side, showing the editor details

    Under correction, you will see the issues that the editor is suggesting a fix for, as shown below
