I've switched to the new version of Outlook but autocorrect isn't on and I can't work out how to turn it on. There is no 'file' option in the new version of Outlook which is where it used to be in previous versions.

The same. For this one reason, I will have to go back to the old outlook.

How do I customize the list of words I'd like auto corrected? I could do this with autocorrect. For example, typing ms I turned into MicroSoft, since I used it often and didn't want to type the letters and caps. If it worked so easily in autocorrect, carry the functionality forward please.

I had to turn it on manually. if you are in that new "Editor window, scroll to the bottom and click "Customize your editor" under settings on the right, and check Enable Auto Correct and Enable Auto Capitalization.

I am actually completely unaware where any of those window/settings are in outlook...
